Visibuild is the quality assurance platform built for construction. We help general contractors, subcontractors and developers replace paper-based QA with a connected digital platform. We're a team of 43 clever humans, spread across Melbourne (HQ), Sydney, Brisbane and London. We’re continuing to build the team to match our growth across Australia, the UK, and the US.
THE ROLE
This is a full-time Product Marketing Manager role based in Melbourne, AUS.
We're looking for someone who can write like hell and is hungry to help shape how global markets see Visibuild for years to come. From translating product capabilities into clear value propositions, developing go-to-market strategies, and creating customer facing collateral that supports product launches and ongoing campaigns, we are looking for someone who can take a complex product and a technical industry and turn it into sharp, persona-specific positioning.
You'll work across content, email, web, social, and in-product messaging, teaming up with our marketing, sales, customer success and design teams. This role involves conducting market and competitor analysis, monitor performance metrics, and use insights to optimise messaging and campaigns.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1. You are a strong writer and story teller.
2. You can make the technical sound human.
Construction has its own language, its own scepticism, and its own BS detector for marketing that doesn't get it. You need to write like someone who has lived the problems the industry faces.
3. You have a point of view.
We embrace the bold! You want to challenge generic positioning and push our voice somewhere sharper.
4. You want to build, not just direct.
5. Have solid B2B marketing experience.
You understand how B2B buyers think and how messaging needs to shift across personas and stages of the funnel.
6. You are a fast learner with real curiosity.
Open to non-construction backgrounds, but we're looking for someone who'll get obsessed with the problems our customers face.
7. Strong marketing analytics skills and sales process familiarity.
Data interpretation, optimisation, KPI tracking and performance tracking.
8. GTM experience
Proven ability to develop and execute Go-to-Market Strategy for product launches and feature releases.
9. Are curious about AI as a working tool.
Interested in creating structured persona, sector, and competitor databases to allow for AI optimised workflows. You don't need to have built something like it, but you should be genuinely interested in how AI can sharpen and speed up the way the team works and digests information.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
This is a hands-on creation role. You will personally write almost everything that explains what Visibuild does and why it matters.
1. Own positioning across every sector we serve.
Shape clear, sharp positioning that translates what Visibuild does into language each sector and persona genuinely cares about. You write the words, not just the strategy behind them.
2. Dig into competitors and keywords.
Find what's working, what's missing, and what nobody else is saying yet, and let that shape what you and the team write next.
3. Take our amazing features to market.
When something new ships, you write the content that announces it: web copy, emails, socials, sales materials.
4. Brief regional teams.
You own the core positioning: regional managers localise it for their markets. You'll also brief SEO content topics and angles, so the team always has a sharp starting point, not a blank page.
5. Drive business growth.
Your research and writing should generate inbound, move pipeline, and grow adoption.
6. Write sales collateral that actually gets used.
Decks, one-pagers, battlecards. Built from real objections and real wins.
7. Paid and organic assets.
Working alongside designers and videographers, own the messaging and copy for events, social launches and paid advertisements that says the right thing and tells the right story.
WHY VISIBUILD?
1. Real ownership from day one.
You won't spend your first six months waiting to be trusted. What you write goes out into the world, and it matters.
2. A unique product making exciting and meaningful change!
Construction technology has been stuck in 1990. We're fixing a real, very expensive, and very frustrating problem, not chasing a trend.
3. A team that genuinely loves to hang out with one another.
We work hard, but we are also passionate about showing up for each other. Whole-company retreats, regular socials, an office people actually want to be in. If you thrive on being around your team, not just working alongside them you'll fit right in!
4. We ship, we iterate, we move.
We don't sit on ideas. We get things out, learn fast, and get better. If slow-moving environments frustrate you, this won't.
5. Global scope from a Melbourne base.
Your work reaches three markets, but you're never far from the team that's building it with you.
6. A lean team that trusts each other.
No bureaucracy, no layers to get through. Just bloody good people doing good work and backing each other to get on with it.
7. Competitive salary and flexible hybrid working.
