Location

Most of our engineering team works from our HQ in Christchurch (NZ). We have smaller offices in co-working spaces in Sydney (AU) and Melbourne (AU) as well. We have many remote team mates, but candidates near established offices are advantaged.

What you'll be working on

‍As a Software Engineer at VXT, you will:

• Work across a range of technical challenges, from infrastructure, DevOps, and security, through to complex product features like billing and integrations.
• Identify, scope, and deliver product changes, including full-stack work when the project calls for it.
• Debug, monitor, and improve production systems.
• Write, update and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Contribute to team discussions and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate across teams to inform your work.

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure/IaC.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative.
