About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Enterprise Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding NZ ecoPortal team. We’re looking for an articulate, high-energy and consistent achiever that has several years enterprise sales experience and is not afraid of the phone, doing demonstrations and genuine relationship selling. Someone who will love discovering customer needs and solving them.

The position is expected to work across the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and will work closely with a Sales Engineer.

Your ultimate goal: New customer adoption. You'll also be building relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts, planning outreach activities in collaboration with the marketing team and follow up on the back of attending events. Your ability to adapt and be open to new and innovative techniques to drive sales conversations will be key to your success.

What skills will I need ?

  • You’ll have proven pipeline generation skills: this is a new business role - working together with a Sales Engineer you'll have the skills and drive to source new targeted customers in the New Zealand Enterprise market
  • You'll have an excellent understanding of SaaS and bonus points for experience relating to Health, Safety and Risk Management.
  • You'll have a great understanding of an enterprise sales process and have proven ability to progress and close large complex enterprise SaaS sales
  • You'll be an excellent listener that can learn about our customers needs, clearly articulate ecoPortals value propositions and confidently handle objections
  • You'll be comfortable engaging with and presenting to key stakeholders at all levels including board and C-Level executives
  • You’ll enjoy constantly learning and developing new and meaningful relationships by inspiring, educating and informing Health,Safety and Risk management leaders.
  • You’ll be great at collaborating , working hand in hand with the different teams within the organisation, such as Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Tech, to help give them market feedback so we can create solutions that help our customers achieve their Health & Safety objectives.
  • You'll be a consistent achiever and problem solver that strives to meet and exceed Revenue targets and Key performance Indicators

We’re looking for someone who…

  • 3+ years Enterprise SaaS Sales experience.
  • An exceptional salesperson you have a large network and trusted relationships which you can leverage in the New Zealand market, preferably across the Retail, Transport & Logistics, Government and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Believes in the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace and ideally has sales experience working in this sector
  • Has strong listening skills & sense of empathy: you genuinely care about helping our customers and can put yourself in their shoes
  • Is organised and has a track record of getting things done: This role requires managing many opportunities at once, so the ideal candidate should be able to tackle and complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • In-depth understanding of the B2B tech journey and the complex sales process to attract and convert potential customers across the funnel
  • Loves attending events and networking across New Zealand & Australia
  • Familiar with HubSpot and Gong
  • Comfortable, independent and effective when working from home when needed and are familiar with the tools and technologies that enable that. You can do this while still contributing and playing a role in our awesome company culture.
