Key aspects of this role
- Define and own the product vision and strategy > Set product direction aligned to company goals. Spend the first 12 months deeply understanding the business before reshaping direction.
- Scale the product org alongside highly involved founders > Partner with founders, who stay close to product, to turn strategy into team-level roadmaps and empower squads to lead their own discovery and proposals.
- Structure the org for what comes next > Shape domains and squads for execution at double the current team size, and recruit, develop, and retain strong PMs without adding bureaucracy.
- Drive a high performance culture across squads > Define how each squad measures success and hold teams accountable to outcomes, not feature throughput.
- Ship high-impact work fast, with quality > Run a disciplined build process that validates outcomes and cuts low-return work early, with Engineering and Design as tight partners.
- Drive commercial alignment > Work closely with Sales, CS, Marketing, and GTM leaders so product decisions reflect commercial context and market signals.
- Build an AI-first product and culture > Drive AI adoption across both the product experience and how the team works, championing experimentation as it evolves.
You’re ideal for the role if you have…
- Proven B2B enterprise SaaS product leadership (essential) > 5+ years leading product at $10M ARR+, scaling from 6 to 12+ squads with measurable impact on retention and expansion.
- Scaled a product org alongside founders (essential) > Grown a product org from ~5 squads to meaningfully larger without adding bureaucracy.
- Active AI practitioner (essential) > Using AI in your own work today, with concrete examples of what you've built or applied.
- Product-market fit across geographies > Scaled a product into new segments or geographies using data and customer evidence.
- Strong prioritisation and commercial instincts > Make hard roadmap calls, defend them with data, and coach PMs toward outcome-focused delivery.
- Cross-functional credibility > Align Sales, CS, Engineering, and Marketing, and hold your own with GTM leaders and execs.
- Construction, proptech, or workflow SaaS background is a strong advantage.
