At EatClub, we believe restaurants and bars are the beating heart of every city’s culture. Whether it’s discovering a hidden gem, grabbing a late-night takeaway, or meeting friends for a drink, our mission is simple: help the hospitality industry thrive through smart, powerful tech.
Our platform helps over 2 million customers discover top restaurants and access real-time deals that save them up to 50% off the bill. We empower more than 4,000 venues to fill empty tables, increase foot traffic, and maximise revenue.
Recently ranked #11 on the 2025 Deloitte Tech Fast 50! Now is an exciting time to join our team. Initially co-founded by Marco Pierre White and leaders in the food tech scene, we’re now a 150+ person scaleup that’s growing fast and making waves in the industry.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
A Day-in-a-Life of our People Experience Lead
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced People & Culture professional to do their most meaningful work yet. Our People Experience Lead is the glue to all the operational and team related initiatives at Eatclub. As a people-first organisation, it is your job to make sure that all employees have what they need to make their maximum contribution to the company.
You will work with the Head of People across a number of projects, including our internal programs, coaching and supporting team leaders, and managing our workspaces in a way that is both impactful to business growth and cost-effective.
What you’ll own
Your week will span four key areas:
1. Recruitment (primary focus for the first 3-4 months) - We’re ramping up hiring in 2026, and you’ll be leading the charge. This means setting up new roles, coaching hiring managers through the process, screening candidates, owning the candidate experience from first touch to offer, and helping us evolve our recruitment program as we grow. You’ll bring structure and warmth to every part of the funnel.
2. People Partnering: You’ll be the go-to for our leaders and managers when they need a sounding board, a coach, or someone to help them navigate a tricky people situation. From performance conversations to team planning to organisational effectiveness, you’ll help our leaders make confident, values-aligned decisions.
3. People Programs & Internal Initiatives; Working under the direction of the Head of People, you’ll help design and run our internal programs end-to-end: onboarding, learning & development, compensation cycles, feedback programs, team building, and engagement initiatives. You’ll be the person who turns a strategy into something people actually feel.
4. Office Operations & Community: EatClub isn’t just a team; it’s a community. You’ll be the engine behind our Sydney office experience and team rituals: our All Hands, Friday Afternoon Drinks, Lunch & Learns, team lunches, and the day-to-day rhythms that make our workplace somewhere people want to be. As we prepare for a brand-new Sydney space in 2027, this area will grow into a bigger part of the role - including running the space and maintaining our compliance and efficiency standards high! .
