We’re looking for an experienced Senior Talent Specialist to join our People & Culture team. This role is responsible for hiring across Halter’s corporate portfolio, including People & Culture, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Senior Leadership roles. We fundamentally believe that the speed and quality of our hiring is one of the biggest drivers of company success.
This role plays a critical part in shaping how Halter scales, ensuring we bring in exceptional people who raise the bar across the business.

As a key member of the People & Performance team, you’ll own end-to-end recruitment for Halter’s operational functions, partnering closely with senior leaders and executives to hire talent that will shape the future of the business. Reporting to the Head of Talent, you’ll lead recruitment delivery across People & Culture, Operations, Finance, Commercial and Senior Leadership roles, combining hands-on execution with strategic partnership, market insight, and exceptional candidate experience.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys working with senior stakeholders, and wants to have a direct impact on building high-performing leadership and corporate teams.
Own full-cycle recruitment for corporate and leadership roles, from role kick-off and sourcing through to offer and close
Partner closely with senior leaders and executives to understand team needs, capability gaps, and future hiring plans
Contribute to workforce planning and hiring prioritisation across corporate functions
Build strong, proactive talent pipelines for current and future corporate roles
Deliver a high-touch, thoughtful candidate experience that reflects Halter’s culture and ambition
Coach and enable hiring managers to lift interview quality, assessment rigour, and decision-making
Support compensation benchmarking and market insights for corporate and leadership roles
Help shape and evolve Halter’s EVP, ensuring our story resonates with corporate and leadership talent
Build scalable recruitment processes and foundations that can flex as the business grows
Track and share hiring metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, candidate feedback) to continuously improve outcomes
Maintain and optimise ATS workflows to keep hiring efficient and organised
Represent Halter as a talent ambassador at events, networks, and industry forums
Partner on initiatives around internal mobility, diversity, and inclusive hiring
Continuously look for opportunities to improve how we hire as we scale

5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, ideally in high-growth or scaling tech environments
Proven experience recruiting across corporate functions (People & Culture, Operations, Finance, Commercial)
Ideally you have experience with Executive and Search led recruitment
A strong business partner who can operate comfortably with senior leaders and executives
Demonstrated success hiring in fast-paced environments without compromising on quality
Deep knowledge of sourcing strategies and how to proactively identify high-calibre corporate talent
Strong data and reporting capability, with the ability to translate insights into action
Familiarity with New Zealand employment law and compliance
High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and strong ownership mindset
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound judgment calls as the business scales
