What will you do?

Reporting to the Security Architect, you'll combine your deep technical expertise with strong collaboration and influencing skills to uplift AppSec maturity across the organization.

This will include:

• Partnering closely with engineering teams, architecture and leadership to align application security outcomes with broader business objectives.
• Acting as a trusted advisor on application security risks, trade-offs, and best practices, including providing input during incidents.
• Leading and executing threat modelling, vulnerability management, secure design reviews, code reviews and security testing.
• Embedding secure development practices across the SDLC and working with engineering teams to drive effective risk remediation.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve application security practices, and championing these through to resolution.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers to uplift team capability.
• Becoming part of a friendly, supportive security team and an organization that genuinely invests in your development!
• The tech stack: C#, .Net, Snyk, Azure DevOps, Azure & AWS.

What will you bring to the party?

You’ll be an experienced Application Security Engineer with exposure to cloud-native environments, or a Software Engineer who’s taken ownership of security responsibilities within engineering teams.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has hands-on experience working with .NET (personal projects count!) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Is comfortable leading application security assessments and secure code reviews.
• Brings a solid understanding of web, API, and cloud-native application security.
• Communicates clearly, collaborates well, and can influence without authority.
• Is naturally curious, enjoys learning, and likes trying out new ideas or approaches.
• Stays engaged with what’s happening in the security world, from emerging threats to high-profile incidents.
