What We're looking for:
The Head of Marketing – Australia is responsible for leading the Australian marketing strategy, driving new customer acquisition, strengthening EROAD’s brand reputation, and building scalable demand generation capability. The role ensures EROAD becomes a trusted, high-performing and commercially strong business, delivering sustainable pipeline, improved conversion, and measurable revenue outcomes across the Australian market.
About the Role:
This position leads the Australian marketing team and agencies, partners closely with Sales, Product and Customer teams, and oversees the execution of integrated, industry-focused growth initiatives across priority verticals.
AUSTRALIAN MARKETING LEADERSHIP
Demand Generation & Pipeline
Own the Australian marketing strategy, aligning to regional revenue, pipeline and retention goals.
Strengthen brand visibility, share of voice, and competitive positioning within key Australian industries and states.
Maintain a deep understanding of the Australian competitive landscape, emerging trends, customer insights and market dynamics.
Develop case studies with key customers that align to priority industries and verticals.
Demand Generation & Pipeline
Build a repeatable, scalable, industry-focused demand generation engine to achieve new business revenue goals.
Execute industry-focused Australian demand generation programmes, including vertical campaigns and acquisition initiatives.
Deliver high-quality pipeline through integrated campaigns across digital, ABM, content, events and partner channels.
Own Australian campaign sequencing, quality and optimisation, ensuring conversion improvements at every funnel stage.
Customer Marketing & Retention
Support lifecycle, up-sell and retention programmes to strengthen customer health, improve expansion opportunities and reduce churn.
Partner with Customer Success to deliver targeted adoption and communication programmes aligned to retention metrics.
Team Leadership, Agencies & Technology
Lead the Australian marketing team and manage performance, capability development and alignment to commercial outcomes.
Manage all Australian agencies, ensuring efficiency, quality, ROI and alignment with EROAD’s brand and commercial priorities.
Oversee tech stack consolidation and ensure all marketing technologies deliver strong ROI.
Direct offshore support teams (e.g. Manila-based designers and digital assistants) to scale execution efficiently via briefs and in consultation with the NZ production leaders..
GLOBAL MARKETING LEADERSHIP
Global Performance Marketing
Lead global performance marketing across AU/NZ/NA, establishing shared frameworks, benchmarks and governance.
Own global new business pipeline development, ensuring predictability, quality and regional alignment.
Lead global paid media, SEO, CRO and analytics, driving consistent excellence across all regions.
Drive global adoption and usage of HubSpot Enterprise, ensuring unified automation, tracking and attribution.
Establish and maintain global CPL, CAC, ROAS and SQL benchmarks.
Produce reporting in HubSpot for all regions, as templated, standardise performance reporting
Global Product Marketing
Lead the global product marketing strategy, ensuring consistent positioning, buyer personas and competitive insights.
Own global product messaging, persona development and value proposition frameworks.
Lead global GTM launches, collaborating with Product, Sales and regional teams to deliver high-impact releases.
Maintain global messaging consistency, persona accuracy and competitive intelligence systems.
Global Content Strategy & Revenue Operations
Lead global content strategy, ensuring scalable frameworks, templates, messaging guides and asset quality.
Align Marketing, Sales and RevOps on lifecycle stages, lead scoring, attribution and reporting methodologies.
Ensure marketing supports predictable revenue by contributing to accurate forecasting, lifecycle discipline and funnel management.

Strong analytical capability; able to manage CAC, CPL, ROAS and attribution frameworks
