We’re hiring a Senior Backend Developer to help scale OneReg’s core platform as we expand globally. This role sits at the heart of our engineering team, building reliable, secure, and scalable backend systems that support complex regulatory and operational workflows across multiple countries. 

You’ll work closely with Product, Frontend, and Customer Success teams, contributing both hands-on development and technical leadership. 

What you’ll be responsible for

• Designing, building, and maintaining backend services and APIs 
• Working with complex data models and integrations 
• Improving platform performance, reliability, and scalability 
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical direction 
• Mentoring other engineers and raising engineering standards 
• Collaborating closely with product and delivery teams 

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience as a Backend or Software Engineer in production systems 
• Deep knowledge of backend architectures, APIs, and databases 
• Experience with cloud-based environments 
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills 
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment 
• Experience in regulated or complex domains is a bonus
