We are seeking a Business Development Manager based in Sydney to join our fast-growing Australian sales team. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, and play a critical role in growing Tapi’s customer base. You’ll be driven, commercially-minded, and great with people. Whether you’re talking to a business owner, principal or property manager, you’ll know how to uncover pain points, connect the dots, and show them how Tapi can solve real-world problems in property management.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage your sales pipeline, with a focus on hitting and exceeding monthly new business targets.
  • Drive full-cycle sales from outreach and discovery through to demo, negotiation, and close.
  • Qualify opportunities generated by SDRs and inbound interest, while also sourcing new leads yourself.
  • Deliver compelling product demos that connect Tapi’s value to agency problems and goals.
  • Prepare and execute monthly sales plans in collaboration with the Sales team and Director of Sales.
  • Travel as required to attend key customer meetings, support deals, and represent Tapi at industry events and conferences.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success.
  • Stay across the competition, industry changes, and emerging customer needs.
  • Represent Tapi at events, conferences, webinars, and in the market—always building pipeline and brand.
  • Track pipeline progress and maintain clean, up-to-date CRM data.
  • Contribute to team strategy, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

You’re hungry, driven, and great with people. You’re equally comfortable cold calling a principal, running a tailored demo, and negotiating a deal. Most of all, you want to win, and you know how to do it.We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience (bonus points for SaaS, Real Estate or PropTech and industry knowledge and relationships).
  • Has a proven track record of hitting quotas and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is a confident communicator. Clear, engaging, and persuasive across channels.
  • Is highly organised. You know how to run your own patch and manage a pipeline like a pro.
  • Understands what makes property managers tick (and what frustrates them).
  • Is comfortable navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Takes initiative, works autonomously, and thrives on results.
  • Brings energy and optimism. Someone people want to buy from and work with.
  • Believes in Tapi’s mission and wants to grow with us.
