The role

As E-Commerce Manager, you’ll own Moodi’s digital experience end-to-end, ensuring every touchpoint from first visit to repeat purchase is seamless, high-converting, and on-brand.

You’ll lead the strategy, execution, and optimisation of our website(s). You’ll pair creative thinking with data-led experimentation to deliver a best-in-class ecommerce experience that fuels growth across ANZ and beyond.

This role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving problems through testing and iteration, and moves comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.

What you’ll do

Site Management & Experience

  • Own the end-to-end operations, performance, and experience of all Moodi storefronts and markets, ensuring stability, scalability, and consistency.
  • Manage on-site merchandising, landing page updates, collection builds, price updates, and product launches.
  • Write copy and build new site content to educate users and drive conversion.
  • Manage the tech stack, including identifying, negotiating, and implementing solutions that expand capabilities and improve ROI.

Site Optimisation

  • Design, implement, and analyse CRO tests, holdouts, and A/B experiments with statistical rigour to improve key metrics.
  • Build and test landing pages and optimise the paid advertising funnel with relevant messaging.
  • Implement SEO and AEO best practices and monitor site health.
  • Manage flawless website execution of product and marketing moment launches, and lead post-launch optimisation.
  • Manage and optimise the website across multiple geographies and customer types. Develop segmentation and personalisation strategies that enhance performance.

Site Performance & Analytics

  • Proactively monitor key e-commerce KPIs across the core site and tests using analytics tools, post-purchase surveys, heat maps, and other relevant metrics.
  • Develop and deliver performance reporting frameworks, translating qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions.
  • Partner with growth team members to align acquisition and on-site performance goals.

Subscription Management & Retention

  • Design and implement tests and initiatives that drive measurable improvements in subscription performance.
  • Build and manage subscription reporting frameworks to inform performance opportunities.
  • Work closely with Retention to support email, SMS, and other retention initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Operations to ensure stock, launches and product data flow smoothly.
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer to ensure cohesive storytelling through user journeys.
  • Coordinate with agencies and freelancers to keep projects moving quickly and deliver on objectives.

What you’ll need

  • 3–5 years’ experience managing e-commerce for a DTC brand
  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimisation, UX principles, and on-site merchandising
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, CRO tools, and Klaviyo preferred
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting data to inform decisions
  • Experience collaborating in Figma or similar design tools
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong communicator with a bias for execution and impact
  • Deep alignment with Moodi’s mission, vision, and values

Location

  • Remote Australia or New Zealand. If you are located in Auckland, this role will be based in our Auckland office.
