We’re on the hunt for a motivated and technically skilled Salesforce Developer to join our growing Salesforce and Go-To-Market team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining both functional and technical solutions on the Salesforce platform that support Go-To-Market operations, user experience, and integration needs.

In this role you’ll work closely with Go-To-Market leadership, our Go-to-Market Ecosystem Team, and our sales team to streamline lead-to-sale processes, improve user adoption, and deliver scalable solutions that drive sales performance while continuing to grow your expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem.

An ideal candidate should have hands-on experience configuring Sales Cloud and a strong understanding of CRM business processes like lead management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting. While this is primarily a functional Salesforce role, familiarity and experience using programmatic Salesforce tools (Apex, LWC, etc.) would be beneficial.

We’re looking for people who are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where they will be challenged on a daily basis. We want people who are obsessed with helping to deliver the best outcome for our farmers. To succeed you will need to be able to learn quickly and utilise your own initiative while working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Who are we looking for - these skills are essential for this role and reflect how we operate every day. We expect applicants to demonstrate evidence of these requirements in their resume, cover letter and interviews.
    • Comprehensive experience using Salesforce automation and declarative configuration tools (flows, approvals, validation roles).
    • Experience using Apex (classes, triggers, test methods), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL is beneficial, but not essential.
    • Able to develop functional solutions using Salesforce automation and declarative configuration tools (flows, approvals, validation rules).
    • The only minimum certification requirement is the Salesforce Administrator certification. However, an ideal candidate may have Platform App Builder, Data Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, and/or Platform Developer.
Bonus things you could bring along to the role - These are not essential for you to apply
    • Experience working within organisations that are currently operating in international markets
    • Experience working within not just Salesforce but across an entire tech stack
    • Implemented Telephony tooling across either Inbound or Outbound teams
    • Experience working with Salesforce products outside of Sales and Service Clouds e.g. Salesforce Maps
What your day could look like
    • Analysing requirements and collaborating on the design of functional and/or technical Salesforce solutions.
    • Implement functional and/or technical Salesforce solutions using appropriate programmatic and configuration-based Salesforce tools.
    • Unit, integration, and user acceptance testing of solutions to meet requirements and edge cases.
    • Ensuring smooth deployment and releases into production systems.
    • Identify areas for system maintenance and improvement.
    • Supporting BAU use of the live Salesforce implementation (support queries, training, and user feedback).
Our Office First Approach

There’s a reason you visit your friends in person, live with your family and don’t do dinners over Zoom. Humans are wired for connection. We believe a world-class, in-person office culture is the best way for high-performing teams.
Being office first is a core pillar of our culture. We believe in-person connections are key to driving your own growth, learning, impact, and building genuine long-lasting relationships. Strong relationships make it easier to disagree, give feedback, and do meaningful and aligned work. We don’t like having heaps of rules or policies, but this means having strong, trusted relationships is critical.

We’re office first, not office only. This means working from the office everyday is our default setting, but we flex when we need to.  We have a high-trust culture, so everyone is trusted to do what’s best for Halter.

Our office vibe is something special, it’s hard to describe until you’re here, but people at Halter who have come from fully remote or hybrid companies say they could never go back - the high energy and spectacular people they are now surrounded by everyday makes work so enjoyable. Your growth, your learning and your impact is truly unlimited here, and a big part of that comes from being together solving problems, innovating, building context, and constantly learning from each other.
