The opportunity

Reporting to our Frontend Lead, this is an opportunity to step into a pivotal Senior Frontend Engineer role where your work will directly shape our website technology and uplift the skills of those around you. We’re looking for someone who sees technology not just as code, but as a powerful way to solve real-world business challenges and create seamless customer experiences.

• TypeScript / React / React Native /Next.js

The ideal toolkit

• 5+ years’ in development, with website and application experience.
• Strong understanding of React and Next.js
• Understanding of the browser engine and related technologies 
• Can write clean and scalable code and knows when to refactor 
• Can write scripts to automate tasks (bash/nodejs etc). 
• Client side Testing experience (e.g. BDD, TDD, UI). 
• System and architectural thinker, able to communicate intent and release it on top of a live system

Role location

We believe that building connections and collaborating as Pet Circlers is super important. So this role is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement of 1-3 days per week in our pet friendly offices (your pet might love coming to the office even more than you).
