Role Overview 

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager focused on the Real Estate segment to join our team in Auckland. In this pivotal role you will define and execute sales strategies, business development, marketing, and sales support programmes to optimise market and customer engagement, and drive profitable revenue growth.

You will be focused on converting and managing relationships with Real Estate clients and industry partners across New Zealand.

You will be at the forefront of our customer-centric approach, fostering strong relationships, and delivering exceptional outcomes to our clients. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, dynamic and have a track record of developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the ability to leverage your strong network to deliver impact, supported by a leading innovative technology and data team.

Responsibilities 

  • Promote and sell SaaS products and data solutions across the real estate industry.  
  • Utilise industry knowledge and networks to identify new opportunities for ongoing growth and revenue.  
  • Development and execution of business and strategic plans to deliver business growth and achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.  
  • Support sales opportunities with product demonstrations.  
  • Nurture and onboard customers as they transition from sales prospects to active users of our platform.  
  • Focus on customer loyalty by building and maintaining close long-term client relationships.  
  • Effectively communicate the Valocity value proposition, including SaaS platform, and data analytics capabilities.  
  • Be the voice of the customer as to opportunities, what needs to be done, by whom and when and ensuring regular updates on progress to enable seamless delivery.  
  • Manage CRM activity and reporting, sales forecasting, planning and buyer driven sales and marketing processes, establishing
    high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency.  
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to enhance digital GTM strategies  
  • Analyse pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting to key stakeholders providing key business insights including pipeline forecast and trends, conversion rates, target customers, market segmentation and competitor swat analysis to ensure success.  

About you 

  • You are customer-obsessed with a “can do” attitude and a passion for delivering amazing customer outcomes 
  • Experience working in or selling to key businesses within the Real Estate sector in New Zealand as well as experience in software sales with an emphasis on SaaS and data solutions 
  • Experience in growing revenue and maintaining long term customer relationships.
  • Should have a strategic outlook, with an ability to work with global management and senior stakeholders to accelerate growth. 
  • Strong maturity, influencing and negotiation skills with external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Detail oriented, proactive and agile to business changes and a team player willing to take ownership where needed.  
  • Entrepreneurial problem-solving mind-set with the ability to achieve results in a fast paced, rapid growth environment.  
  • Have impeccable integrity and high personal ethics  
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets 
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.  
  • You are professional, highly organised, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • You know how to work hard, but also thrive in a highly social and collaborative team
