The Role

Step into a role where strategy meets impact. As our Senior P&C (People & Culture) Manager, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping how we support, grow, and inspire our people across Australia and Singapore (and beyond).

In this role, you won’t just be behind the scenes — you’ll be leading the charge on global P&C operations, driving initiatives that matter, and helping leaders and teams thrive in a fast-paced, global business.

If you’re a hands-on HR leader who loves making things happen, this is your chance to deliver meaningful change, tackle a variety of work, and leave your mark on a business that’s scaling fast.

This is a fixed term parental leave role for 9-12 months, and reports to the Chief People Officer, Melbourne. The successful candidate is able to commence this role towards the end of November or early December.

As our Senior P&C Manager, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Business Partnering

  • The senior P&C partner for our Australian and Singapore teams, driving workforce planning, performance, and organisational impact.
  • Shape and deliver people strategies across APAC, working hand-in-hand with senior leaders including executives to align local needs with global goals.
  • Coach and advise leaders through complex people challenges, team dynamics, and leadership growth.
  • Lead and advise on change initiatives that make a real difference across functions and regions.

People Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding to performance, rewards, and engagement — ensuring seamless experiences at every stage.
  • Keep us sharp on compliance, driving continuous improvement in Australian employment law, modern awards, and OHS standards.
  • Turn people data into insights, overseeing the delivery of clear reporting and metrics to leaders across regions.
  • Champion smarter ways of working by improving global HR systems, processes, and employee experience.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a small, high-impact team of up to 3 — coaching, mentoring, and building capability for today and tomorrow.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and excellence within the P&C team; collaborate with peers across regions for; performance, engagement, and organisational change.

Global Programs & Initiatives

  • Drive global P&C initiatives that fuel performance, engagement, and organisational change across regions.
  • Embed key projects and frameworks from high-performance culture to leadership development.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years’ progressive HR generalist or business partnering experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior role and people leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven success partnering with teams in global and matrixed environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, and compliance.
  • Track record of balancing strategic influence with hands-on delivery.
  • Confident coach and trusted advisor to senior leaders, with the ability to influence and handle sensitive matters with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading small teams and scaling HR practices in high-growth environments.
  • Background in fast-paced, regulated industries (e.g., financial services, fintech, trading) is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to simplify complexity and bring clarity.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working through ongoing change and ambiguity.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilise HR systems (e.g. Culture Amp, BambooHR, PAVE).
  • Experience in a tech start-up or high-growth company is a strong advantage.
  • Flexibility to collaborate across time zones as needed ad hoc, including with key P&C stakeholders in Cyprus.
