We're searching for an energetic and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead our inbound and outbound sales efforts targeting small to medium-sized businesses. In this pivotal, hands-on role, you'll be responsible for coaching and developing our SDRs, optimising their outreach strategies, and ensuring they consistently generate high-quality leads that fuel our sales pipeline.
You'll also be hands-on in the sales process where needed, providing direct support and expertise.
What You'll Do
- Coach, train, and develop a small team of SDRs, providing constructive feedback and hands-on guidance to help them refine their prospecting, outreach, and qualification skills for high-velocity inbound and outbound sales.
- Jump in and get involved with the sales process especially for large, more complex or strategic opportunities, leveraging your expertise to help convert qualified leads into customers.
- Work closely with your team to consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly qualified lead generation targets.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop, test, and refine effective inbound and outbound outreach sequences, messaging, and prospecting techniques for rapid engagement and conversion.
- Actively identify and investigate new sales opportunities, including potential markets, target ICPs, and work with our channel partners to expand our lead generation avenues.
- Track, analyse, and report on individual and team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to boost productivity and efficiency, with a focus on velocity and conversion rates.
What you’ll bring
- A proven track record of selling B2B SaaS into international markets (ideally US) through both inbound and outbound high-velocity strategies.
- Prior experience leading, mentoring and coaching an SDR team.
- Strong understanding of various sales prospecting tools and CRM systems.
- Experience or a keen interest in exploring and developing new sales opportunities.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage prospects effectively and rapidly.
- Highly organised, data-driven, and analytical with the ability to interpret metrics, identify trends, and optimise strategies for speed and scale.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and a positive team player who thrives in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
