About the Role
The Marketing Manager will join Sharesies’ growing Australian team. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Country Manager - Australia to deliver across the broad marketing space, including supporting in areas like content, email, PR, acquisition, product marketing, B2B and events.
Sharesies is in a stage of rapid growth in the Australian market, so you will be someone who loves brand building and growth marketing. You're an experienced marketer who knows how to have a big impact. You love the variety of a marketing generalist role, and you know how to work collaboratively in a team as well as managing your own tasks.
You're excited by a challenge and know how to manage initiatives from idea to execution. You get stuck in and get stuff done. You also know how to go back and review results and share insights.
Key Tasks
● Executional marketing work across an array of channels, including email, content, PR, website, product, acquisition and campaigns
● Write content to an acceptable level that will help communicate the Sharesies product, brand and B2B offerings in Australia
● Assist with the planning and execution of community events and activities ● Write clear and concise briefs to people within the wider Sharesies team, in order to deliver any work you’re not able to do yourself
● Market research—stay across the key trends and changes that are happening in our market and communicate this to the relevant people
● Measure, test, and iterate on marketing initiatives, looking for any areas of improvement or refinement
● Agency collaboration: Work closely with our PR, creative, and media agency partners to deliver on OKRs
● Collaborate across the business - whether that’s within the Australia team, wider marketing team, or with other departments, like product - to deliver business results
● Taking responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and your teammates
● Our roles can be flexible sometimes, we all pitch in and help out, so there may be times when other reasonable duties are required
How the Marketing Manager Fits at Sharesies
This role plays a key part in the marketing of Sharesies products in Australia. Based in Sydney, you will report into the Head of Marketing - Australia and New Zealand. You will also collaborate with other members of the wider Marketing function including Content, Design, Lifecycle and Social, as well as the Country Manager based in Sydney, to deliver your program of work.

● You know how to reflect and report on marketing initiatives to give context to performance and for future planning
● You’re a great teammate—you know how to work well with others and within a team, large and small
● Excellent writing and editing skills
● Solid project management skills, including how to lead and manage streams of work
● Strong communication and people skills
● Based in Sydney (or keen to be)
Nice to Have Skills
● Experience in marketing for ANZ and/or globally
● Product marketing experience
