We’ve invested heavily in documenting processes across the entire business. Now, we need an Automation Workflow Engineer to bring those processes to life through high-quality, resilient, and observable automations.

This role is essential to how we scale. It sits at the intersection of engineering, security, operations, and sales, and will be responsible for owning the design, development, and optimisation of workflow automations across all departments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust automation workflows across business and technical teams
• Translate documented processes into efficient, secure, and observable automation logic
• Lead the technical delivery of workflow automation projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Work with APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, job queues, schedulers, and event-driven systems
• Develop logic that includes proper error handling, logging, alerting, and retry mechanisms
• Establish standards for naming, reuse, and documentation of workflows across the organisation
• Continuously improve existing automations and identify new opportunities across departments

What We’re Looking For

This is a technical role requiring deep prior experience with workflow automation platforms and API-based integration.

Essential experience includes:

• Strong hands-on experience with workflow and orchestration tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Workato, Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar platforms
• Experience with security automation or SOAR tools
• Proven ability to build, test, and deploy production-grade automation workflows across multiple teams or business units
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth2, and webhooks
• Strong scripting and logic development skills using JavaScript or Python
• Familiarity with data persistence and manipulation using databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Experience with Docker, secrets management, and version control using Git
• Comfortable working directly with stakeholders to translate requirements into working automation logic
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, supportable workflows that scale

Nice to Have

• Background in security operations, sales ops, or business process automation
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Sentry
