We’re looking for a Product Design Manager in Auckland to lead a talented team working on complex challenges and delivering real impact. Our Inventory Management teams help retailers manage stock, uncover revenue opportunities, and gain insights.

You'll support your team’s growth, drive execution, improve design processes, and collaborate with leadership on key initiatives. Our designers are all about making the buying experience smoother, using design systems to keep things simple and scalable.

As Product Design Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting your team’s growth and delivering top-notch user experiences across our Retail products, while also collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to help shape how we build and design.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Turn complex business goals into clear, actionable design work—often spotting problems before they pop up. You’ll apply strategic thinking to identify the right problems to tackle and the best ways to solve them, while exploring AI and new tech to keep our approach fresh and forward-thinking.
  • Lead design strategies that are backed by real user insights—both from data and research. Working closely with product managers, you’ll help define the right problems and make sure user needs are prioritised.
  • Take the lead on evolving our design systems to stay relevant and easy to use. Whether you're building prototypes or helping others do the same, you’ll make sure ideas are clearly communicated and grounded in best practices.
  • Support your team’s growth through mentoring and clear development paths, while building a positive, high-performing culture. You'll keep projects moving, manage team priorities, and put the right processes in place to help everyone do their best work together.
What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Prior experience leading design teams, ideally within cross-functional environments
  • A strong understanding of how design, technology, and product development evolve and work together
  • Hands-on experience designing for B2B products, with a deep understanding of service design and efficient design processes
  • Comfortable designing across both digital and physical experiences
  • Excellent communicator who can clearly explain design decisions
  • Experienced with Agile, design sprints, and tools like Jira
  • Confident using tools like Figma, Miro, and the Google Suite for collaboration and prototyping

We know that people are more than what’s on their CV. If you’re unsure that you have the right profile for the role... hit the ‘Apply’ button and give it a try!
