We’re now looking for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join the executive team and lead our next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

As CRO, you’ll drive Onside’s go-to-market strategy, aligning sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships under one cohesive commercial engine. You’ll lead a team of high-calibre functional heads, report directly to the CEO, and contribute at board level to shape our growth strategy.

You’ll build on what’s already working, but bring the structure, discipline, and commercial acumen to help us scale, both in-region and globally.

What You'll Lead

Commercial & Revenue Strategy

  • Define and execute a GTM strategy aligned to Onside’s three-year growth objectives
  • Own revenue outcomes across mid-market, enterprise, and channel/partner streams
  • Shape new market entry strategies and influence product direction based on customer and market insight

Team Leadership

  • Lead and grow a high-performing commercial team (currently 3 direct reports: Heads of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success)
  • Build a culture of clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Align cross-functional efforts to deliver on growth and customer outcomes

Enterprise & Mid-Market Sales

  • Guide complex deal strategy and enterprise sales execution
  • Establish scalable sales operations, forecasting, and pipeline discipline
  • Identify strategic partnerships that expand reach and drive value

Marketing & Brand Alignment

  • Partner with marketing to refine our positioning, demand gen, and awareness strategies
  • Ensure brand, messaging, and campaigns support commercial and customer goals

Customer Success & Lifetime Value

  • Drive post-sale engagement, retention, upsell, and advocacy
  • Build systems that scale customer success and create lasting value

Performance, Insights & Reporting

  • Own revenue forecasting and commercial reporting
  • Present progress and strategic recommendations to the board and investors
  • Identify and solve friction points in the commercial engine

What You Bring

  • Proven success in a senior commercial or revenue role within a SaaS or tech scale-up environment
  • Experience leading GTM strategy and building commercial functions across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Strong understanding of enterprise and mid-market sales cycles, including complex deal structures
  • A track record of entering and scaling in new markets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performance teams
  • Analytical and data-led mindset with sharp commercial judgement
  • Strong board presence and executive communication skills
  • A genuine interest in rural innovation and solving real-world problems
  • Experience preparing a business for capital raising or M&A
