Role

We are hunting for a new Senior Engineer to join a growing part of our business. Our Engineers work together to deliver projects internally and to customers, which mostly involve HP and Dell Servers and SANs, VMware, Cisco routing and switching, AWS, Microsoft (AD, SCCM, Exchange, SQL server, Azure, O'365 etc).

The work is extremely varied and allows for our Engineers to get exposure to new and complex solutions every day.

Duties

The role consists of some or all of the following activities:

• Systems Integration (WINTel/M365) : Expertise in integrating Windows infrastructure, M365, and related systems across organizations.
• Project & Change Management : Skilled in executing complex integrations while managing technical and organizational change.
• Cross-Functional Communication :  Able to bridge gaps between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Data Migration & Security :  Proficient in secure data transfers, maintaining integrity and compliance.
• Rapid Problem Solving :  Adaptive and analytical under pressure, with a focus on seamless transition.

To perform this role, we are seeking a senior engineer with most of the following experience. To be successful in this role we don't need all of the below, but we're looking for smart people, with the right attitude, who will fit in to our awesome team.

• Experience working with Hyper-V environments or clusters will be very favorably viewed
• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, Infrastructure Virtualisation, Office 365, routing and switching, scripting (VB/Powershell)
• Experience in network switching, routing and security will be favorably viewed
• Supporting, managing and maintaining Microsoft Azure - Azure AD Connect, Azure AD & Azure IAM
• Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam or similar
• Skills in Office 365 Intune MDM and Autopilot deployments, Microsoft Office 365 administration will all be useful
• Excellent complex-problem diagnosis technique
• Experience with ConnectWise or other ticketing systems, Automate (LabTech), and/or Solarwinds Orion.
• Experience working in a managed services, outsourcing or professional services environment.
