The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the role focuses on shaping the product strategy, vision, and execution roadmap for key products within the organisation. The role will govern the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch analysis, ensuring that product goals align with the key stakeholders, and the company’s business objectives and technical capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and drive product vision and strategy in collaboration with the CTO and executive team.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle, including roadmap creation, feature prioritisation, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and project teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align business needs, share updates, and incorporate feedback.
  • Conduct user research and customer feedback loops to ensure a user-centered product design.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven enhancements.
  • Partner with software teams to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and security.
  • Mentor junior product team members and promote best practices in product management.
  • Proactively identify risks and lead problem-solving efforts to keep product momentum on track.

The Person

As a user focused, collaborative team player, the Senior Product Manager requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience managing delivery in cross-functional teams.

You will also have:

  • Successful completion of tertiary qualification in IT, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) sector.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a Product-Focus role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Agile software development environments such as Scrum, Kanban, DSDM, etc.
