The General Manager HR will be responsible for DEFEND’s HR function, structure and building scalable people-oriented policies, along with driving key Human Resources (HR) best practices and initiatives and provide strategic direction and expertise for the full scope of the HR function.   

Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Head of HR, Divisional HR Business Partner or similar
  • Experience in strategic planning 
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems 
  • Thorough knowledge and practice of employment legislation and regulations, and HR best practices 
  • Experience in organisational change design and implementation 
  • Excellent leadership abilities 
  • First class verbal and written communications 
  • Ability to demonstrate highest levels of discretion, confidentiality and integrity 
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills 
  • Broad People & Culture knowledge and practical experience of at least 4 of the following - ER, Change Management, Reward, Learning & Development, HR Operations and Recruitment.
