About the Role:
This is a new role, where you will be responsible for setting up and championing best testing practices for Sandfield. We are looking for an experienced Intermediate to Senior Software Tester who will also be hands-on in performing testing duties.
This includes working closely with our development team to design, execute, and document test cases, identify defects, and contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve our processes.
Requirements:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and clients to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Contribute to automated testing strategies.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices, including automated, manual, security, and performance testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will have experience with:
- Testing web applications built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and C# is highly beneficial.
- Testing APIs and React Native mobile applications.
- Playwright and JMeter is an advantage.
- DevOps Pipelines is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft tech stack (.NET, SQL) is a plus.
