The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fixed term Content Writer to join our team and assist in creating clear, concise and informative payroll documentation.
The short-term assignment is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of payroll documentation or a content writer with some experience looking to expand their payroll documentation repertoire.
You will be responsible for drafting, editing and updating documentation that enables our employees and stakeholders to understand internal payroll processes.
As our Content Writer (Payroll & HR Documentation), your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Create clear and accurate payroll-related documentation, including guides, handbooks, FAQs, and training materials.
- Collaborate with internal payroll specialists and other team members to ensure that all information is correct and up-to-
- date.
- Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, consistency, and readability.
- Organise and structure complex payroll concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Ensure that all documentation aligns with company standards and complies with legal and regulatory requirements
- Participate in team meetings to learn about payroll processes and contribute to documentation improvements.
- Maintain a well-organized library of payroll documentation.
About You
- A passion for writing, specifically content writing and documentation.
- A minimum 2 years’ experience content writing preferably in payroll and human resources.
- Demonstrated Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new concepts.
- Attributes of curiosity, willingness to collaborate across teams and time zones as required.
- Highly motivated with a bias for progress and action.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- A degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
