Group Financial Accountant

The Group Financial Accountant plays a vital role in supporting the Group Finance team by managing the financial reporting and control processes across the Group.

This position is responsible for accurate and timely completion of group consolidations, maintenance of intercompany balances, fixed asset registers, and preparation of statutory and statistical reporting requirements. The role ensures integrity in financial records and contributes to ongoing process improvements.

This role requires strong attention to detail, an understanding of IFRS, and a disciplined approach to month-end and year-end reporting responsibilities.

 

Three Key responsibilities include:

- Financial Reporting and Compliance

- General Ledger Management

- Process Improvement

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you will need:

  • CA qualification (or working towards) preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting or audit environment.
  • Sound understanding of IFRS and group accounting principles.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
