We are seeking a Head of Brand & Content Strategy to lead the management of a unified yet differentiated brand narrative across our four business entities. This role requires a nimble leader who can support design in crafting brand identities, work with content to develop high-impact content strategies, and drive unified brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty at a global scale.
This role is open to remote candidates in US and Australia, with option for in office in Melbourne or Brisbane.
What You’ll Do
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that balances corporate goals while maintaining the positioning of each brand entity across geos.
Ensure consistency in brand messaging, identity, and tone across all entities, channels and regions.
Conduct brand audits and competitive analysis to refine positioning and market differentiation.
Lead rebranding, brand evolution initiatives, or support M&A as needed.
Content Strategy & Storytelling
Oversee the global content marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience insights.
Oversee the development of compelling thought leadership, case studies, white papers, and multimedia content that establishes Simpro Group entities as industry leaders.
Build a content ecosystem that effectively engages different audience segments across multiple platforms (heavy focus on video as well as website, social media, email, PR, etc.).
Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine content effectiveness and audience engagement.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and other cross-functional teams to integrate brand messaging into all touchpoints.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of brand and strategists, including video, as well as organic social media marketing
Work closely with external agencies, freelancers, and partners to scale content production and distribution.
Performance & Measurement
Establish KPIs for brand awareness, engagement, and content effectiveness, and leverage analytics to optimize performance.
Monitor and report on key brand and content metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
Ensure brand sentiment and perception align with company goals through ongoing market research and feedback loops.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of experience in brand strategy, content marketing, and / or corporate communications, preferably within B2B SaaS - preference given to those with field services software experience
Proven track record of building and scaling global brand strategies across multiple business units.
Expertise in content marketing, digital storytelling, and multi-channel campaigns.
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics tools to inform brand and content decisions.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing multiple brands under a single corporate umbrella.
Familiarity with SEO, demand generation, and performance marketing as they relate to content strategy.
Background in creative direction, design thinking, or PR is a plus.
