About the role:

This multi-faceted and broad role will report into the Senior Brand Manager and support the wider Brand & Comms Team (Head of Brand & Comms, Senior Brand Manager, and external partners) to execute marketing campaigns across our portfolio of brands that fundamentally change the direction of our business.

The Brand Executive stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping implement branding, advertising and PR  plans. Day to day activities may include drafting reports, creating or coordinating assets and content, tracking results, building relationships with internal teams and otherwise supporting all brand activities .

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for all things Brand, and who values the importance of building a connection with our audience. You’ll have a hands-on attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.

How you will add value:

  • Brand and campaign execution - Support the Brand team to develop, deliver and evaluate campaigns across paid, owned and earned media, that support goals across both homeowner and tradie audiences.
  • Market research and analysis - Develop in-depth understanding of audiences and undertake competitive analysis to understand consumer needs, preferences and industry trends.
  • Brand guardianship - Act as an ambassador for the brand internally and externally. Work cross-functionally to ensure all teams within the business reflect correct brand design, messaging and values.
  • Day-to-day brand admin duties including, keeping the brand toolbox up-to-date, filing of reports, and planning/delivering branded merchandise.
  • Support our brand strategy - Contribution to longer-term brand strategy and planning.

About you:

  • 1-2 years experience in marketing or a marketing-related discipline. If you’re currently in a marketing agency and looking to take the leap into an in-house role, we’d love to hear from you!
  • General understanding of importance of brand / branding.
  • Experience supporting the development / deployment of campaigns on time, on brand and within budget.
  • Ability to work in cross-functionally and build effective relationships.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate.
  • A hunger to learn and grow.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.

Technical experience:

  • Comfortable with all common G-Suite applications.
  • Ability to understand media plans.
  • Basic copywriting and editing skills.
