Now, we’re looking for an exceptional Senior Web Designer to join our Design team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of our web platforms while creating lasting value for our users. You will have significant impact in determining how 3P Learning will optimise our web and design technologies to engage with users and drive lead generation.
This will be a full-time hybrid role, ideally working 1-2 days per week in our Sydney office (negotiable depending on your circumstances).
What you’ll do:
The Senior Web Designer will support the Digital Design Team Lead in the successful execution of critical projects that will deliver engaging digital marketing assets and web experiences that convert users to customers, cross-sell to existing customers and aid customer retention strategies.
The Senior Web Designer will bring technical web design expertise, ensuring that 3P Learning’s online presence delivers operational and strategic goals by ensuring web assets and technologies are built and integrated effectively.
This role will also play a pivotal role in working with Development teams in building and promoting new web features in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Website & Digital Asset Development
- Design and develop mobile-first, responsive marketing websites, landing pages, and digital collateral to support campaigns.
- Maintain and optimise marketing websites for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and efficiency.
- Design and code responsive emails (eDMs and system emails) for marketing campaigns.
Design Quality & Brand Consistency
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, typography, colours, and imagery while contributing to continual style guide improvements.
Technology & Strategy Support
- Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve team performance and propose enhancements in collaboration with the Digital Design Team Lead.
- Support the strategic development of the tech stack and design infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Work closely with developers and other technical stakeholders to align on platform and integration requirements.
Project Ownership & Collaboration
- Take ownership of high-visibility or complex design projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality expectations.
- Work with internal clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address challenges.
- Support the Digital Design Team Lead in ensuring successful execution and alignment of strategic direction during critical project phases.
- Collaborate with marketing teams, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Assist in Mentorship & Team Development
- Provide hands-on guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and best practice sharing across the team.
What you’ll bring with you:
- Relevant graduate qualification in web development, front-end development or user interface design/user experience design.
- 5 years of proven Web Design experience.
- Understanding of CMS & WordPress platforms, including PHP.
- Strong HTML/CSS coding experience (JavaScript highly favoured but not required).
- Strong experience and use of collaborative design tools, including Figma.
- Some experience and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) is desirable.

- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple web design projects, meeting deadlines, and collaborating across teams.
- Mentorship: Ability to contribute to the professional growth of junior web designers by sharing expertise, providing constructive feedback and assisting in their technical skill development under the guidance of the Digital Design Team Lead.
- Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to approach web design challenges creatively and effectively while balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Strong skill in troubleshooting and refining designs based on feedback and technical requirements.
- Front-End Development: strong technical skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics and understanding of how design integrates with front-end code. The ability to work effectively with developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
