We're looking for 1 Senior and 1 Intermediate Security Operations Engineer to join the Plexure team in hybrid roles. You'll be based in our Auckland CBD office and enjoy 3 WFH days each week + a long list of amazing benefits (which you'll find below).

What will you do?
- Reporting to our Security Architect, you'll lead (Senior) or support (Intermediate) security operations practices across the full technology stack, with a strong emphasis on modern public cloud platforms.
- Work collaboratively on the management and execution of security initiatives that help level-up our SecOps maturity:
- Lead the uplift of SIEM coverage across the full tech stack, working from a high-level design through to implementation.
- Define security solution architecture and requirements for IAM (Entra ID), uplifting identity security posture in coordination with IT delivery teams.
- Drive an asset management uplift, taking iterative, best-practice aligned steps (e.g., NIST frameworks).
- Deploy and optimize CSPM tooling across Azure and AWS, working with platforms like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Wiz.
- Influence the way we work! You'll contribute to the selection of new tooling and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Promote security best practice: provide recommendations to engineering teams on how to safeguard their development practices.
- Harness your critical thinking skills to investigate and respond to security incidents.
- As a Senior, you'll also help mentor, coach and guide our Intermediate Security Engineers.
- The tech stack: Sentinel, MS Defender (E5), Entra ID, Azure DevOps, AWS & Azure.

What are we looking for?
- A solid understanding of PaaS and Azure Public Cloud Infrastructure.
- Someone well-versed in SIEM tools, ideally with experience in Sentinel.
- Experience working on cloud-based identity management projects. Bonus points if you're familiar with Entra ID.
