Your Role:

As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for generating data-driven insights and identifying business opportunities for your functional and cross-functional team! You will work closely with the senior leadership team and data team to plan, prioritise, and deliver immense value to the business.  

You will be influential in defining the direction of the hipages marketplace as we continue to evolve and apply your experience to find the best experience for our customers. 

How you will add value:

  • Identifies data commercialisation opportunities and develops business cases where relevant
  • Advises on the required setup for A/B testing (hypothesis-driven and Bayesian) and direct tests from conception to conclusion.
  • Select, acquire and integrate structured data from disparate sources required to deliver actionable insights.
  • Oversees the activities of data analysts and runs code reviews to support and coach team members
  • Collaborates closely with the data engineers to produce data assets
  • Develops data quality and data governance within the organisation
  • Researches and recommends analytical methods and approaches for wider adoption across the business
  • Contributes and advances analytics policy, standards, frameworks, testing methodology and guidelines within the data team

About you:

  • Proven ability to take ownership, share knowledge, and elevate team performance. Experience in mentoring or managing individuals is highly valued, with the flexibility to lead through influence or formal people management.
  • Experience in applying statistical / modelling techniques to real-world data to drive insights
  • Hands-on experience in data analytics with a lens on SaaS Product Analysis/Development (A/B testing, causal impact analysis)
  • Prior experience as a Digital/Product Analyst would be advantageous
  • Proficient in querying databases using advanced queries in SQL and BI tools
