Who we’re looking for:

The Treasury Analyst position will report to the Senior Treasury Manager of FleetPartners Group and will be responsible for daily cash management; producing daily treasury reports that support liquidity and cash management; interest rate hedging, system/reporting improvements and other treasury related duties.

The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in streamlining financial processes, supporting treasury operations, and delivering insights through data-driven reporting.

What you’ll be doing:

Key Deliverables:

  • Assisting the Treasury Manager/Treasurer in completing necessary analysis and production of data for reporting to senior management and external parties related to liquidity, funding and other treasury related matters in a timely manner;
  • Building & automating excel financial models and dashboard reporting using power BI
  • Monitoring and reporting of available cash held within the Group and ensuring available cash is held within bank accounts to settle all payments
  • Ensuring all payments and treasury cashflows are settled in a timely manner, and all necessary documentation is maintained for audit purposes;
  • Treasury portfolio analysis to ensure compliance with trust portfolio parameters and covenants;
  • Assisting with cash management activities that includes cash reporting and forecasting; managing cash in accordance with corporate and transactional document requirements; and completing transaction management and banking related activities;

This will be achieved through:

  • Ensuring that treasury operational functions and reporting are completed in accordance with documented transaction facility arrangements;
  • Working closely with the IT team to improve report automation and testing due to system upgrade.
  • Managing daily cash requirements ensuring sufficient liquidity and funding is available to support the operational requirements of the Group
  • Preparing reporting that supports the preparation of securitisation waterfalls for funding platforms in both Australia and New Zealand;
  • Assisting in preparing third party and management presentation material at market standard;
  • Participating in hedging arrangements for the Group.

We’re looking for someone who has …

  • Degree in Economics, Accounting or a Finance related discipline.
  • Displays robust financial analysis and modelling skills (advanced excel).
  • Experience in data extraction and preparing financial models.
  • Ability to interpret raw data to generate meaningful summary/dashboard for management and external parties reporting.
  • High attention to detail, with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Pro-active and an ability to time manage and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including report writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have…

  • Experience in a Banking /Financial Services or Treasury related role.
  • Experience in reporting and financial modelling for securitisation trusts.
  • Knowledge of structured finance, capital markets, and/or corporate banking principles.
  • Proficiency in VBA and/or Power BI.
