In this role, you’ll be reporting directly to our Creative Director, Nick. He’s a true creative force—the brains behind Sumday’s brand. He brings a bit of magic to every customer touchpoint from product design, creative, content, videos, merchandise, and everything in between. What You’ll Do
- Content Creation & Editing: Produce high-quality video content, taking product marketing and educational content ideas and high level briefs from the relevant teams, and turning that into creative ideas through to final edit.
- Coordination: Manage content projects, collecting input across teams and from freelancers where relevant, ensuring timelines are met and resources are used efficiently.
- Visual Storytelling: Bring Sumday’s mission to life with authentic stories, including interviewing our customers and partners to get to the human element of this work.
- Content Strategy Execution: Support the team in executing content strategies that align with our brand’s voice and goals.
- Multi-Platform Mastery: Adapt content for different formats—whether it’s video, infographics, or social posts—across our platforms.
What You’ll Bring
- An understanding of our customers or a strong willingness to learn: Maybe you’re an accountant that’s already creating content and looking for a career change, or you have an insight into the sustainability challenges facing accounting or sustainability professionals.
- Video Production Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and experience producing polished content for digital channels.
- Creative Eye: A strong sense of visual storytelling, with the ability to create content that is both informative and engaging.
- Content Creation Experience: Hands-on experience in producing various content formats, from short clips to detailed tutorials. You’re comfortable recording yourself sharing product features in the platform as well.
- Project Coordination: Ability to juggle multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver content on time.
- Flexibility & Initiative: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you’ll need to pivot and adapt quickly, taking ownership of content from start to finish.
Other skills that will set you apart
- Experience using the adobe design suite
- You're not about to take a job at Pixar, but you can do some animation
- You have some experience using Figma and are keen to learn more
