At Lyka, we take a preventative, holistic and personalised approach to pet care. We look at the full picture, factoring in the diet, lifestyle and environment of each individual animal.

What you’ll do

• Own and shape the core backend services and impactful frontend components that power Lyka's software stack, delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Review and refine code and design documents, ensuring quality, scalability, and innovation across the engineering team.
• Head the Technical Leadership Guild, driving collaboration and fostering a culture of technical mastery and creativity.
• Champion technical excellence, setting the bar high and ensuring Lyka consistently delivers top-tier solutions.
• Define and guide Lyka’s long-term engineering roadmap, driving vision and innovation to secure the future of our technology.

• A seasoned expert with 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable Cloud Software products.
• 3+ years serving as a Principal Software Engineer, demonstrating a proven ability to lead technical projects and teams.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Vue, NestJS, Microservices, Postgres, and AWS, crafting robust and efficient solutions.
• [Preferred] Experience working in hardware and/or manufacturing environments, bridging the gap between software and physical systems.
• A deep understanding of modern software architecture and the ability to drive complex projects from concept to deployment.
