We are seeking an experienced People Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our People & Culture team. The position is based out of HQ in Sydney.

In this role, you will report to the Head of People & Culture and will be responsible for planning and delivering exceptional people experiences across Squiz. This includes active participation in strategic and cyclical people and culture initiatives. In this role you will need to have a strong HR generalist background and will be a true business partner, working alongside a global HR function.

What will I do?

  • Partner with people leaders to develop, coach and implement effective people policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Effectively manage complex ER cases end-to-end.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulations that relate to people and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Offer coaching, counselling, and learning solutions to leaders and employees to promote professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Enable a culture of high performance by educating and coaching leaders on performance management and performance discussions.
  • In collaboration with the People & Culture Team, help develop culture strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, advising on People matters across the entire people life cycle.
  • Manage cyclical P&C processes for assigned business units, including the annual performance appraisal process.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to support strategic HR initiatives.

What do I need?

  • Previous experience people partnering with Technology stakeholders highly regarded.
  • Experience executing cyclical P&C processes, organisational design and managing complex ER cases.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of HR best practice, including applicable state and national employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills using pragmatism and a commercial mindset
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, whilst balancing the commercial interests of the Company.
  • Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on the audience.
  • A commitment to delivering great outcomes for our people is essential.
  • Ability to work independently, and working in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple priorities, and ability to meet deadlines.

The People Partner ANZ will advise and support our People Leaders on operational and strategic issues while helping them implement high-performing, integrated employee experiences. Our ANZ P&C team sit within Sydney CBD and foster our hybrid approach to flexible working.
