About the role:
We’re on the lookout for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and deliver original brand communications. Collaborating with our creative manager, marketing and wider team, you’ll be able to create concepts to final artwork, ensuring it is to a high standard and is on-brand.
You’ll be up to date with design & social media trends and software, be full of creative ideas and move at pace to make them happen. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of branding, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and create original & innovative design solutions that effectively communicate the brand with the ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Collaboratively work with our creative manager to deliver against creative briefs, taking direction and being a problem solver.
- Conceptualise and design brand communications including but not limited to:
- Point of sale
- Brand communications
- Digital & social media assets
- Product packaging
- Presentations and reports
- Internal communications
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve how the Pals brand shows up in brand communications across all areas in the business.
- Be an active member in the marketing team, participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions to put forward creative solutions & ideas.
- Ensure all design work is aligned with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity across all channels.
- Stay updated on industry trends and design best practices to bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Collaborate with the wider team to understand project requirements and objectives.
Who we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1-2+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer.
- A creative bursting with great ideas and enthusiasm to make it happen.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts.
- Team player who is willing to get stuck in and help the business deliver its ambitions.
