Senior Product Manager

  • Full Time Job
  • Hybrid
Cuttable
There’s a saying (that we just made up) that not all Product Manager roles are created equally. With some, you inherit a Product and maybe a team, with others you launch a new Product within an established business.

Our role is neither of those things. We’re early stage at ~20 people, and this will be our first PM hire. We know that we’re on the cusp of something big, with interest & demand for our product extremely high.

But we do now need the skills and experience of a Snr Product Manager to help guide us through PMF to scaling and profitability. We’re still scrappy and fast-paced and prefer progress over process at the moment, which means you need to be comfortable with being hands on, deep in the details.

Our single sentence description for this role could be “A good human being, with experience growing product in an early stage business to ~300 people, and if they also understand digital advertising, then that’s an absolute bonus”
You’ll work closely with customers and the Cuttable team to identify, prioritise and champion initiatives & features that provide both customer and business value. You’ll also work closely with Cuttable Co-Founders and the leadership team to set the longer-term strategic direction for the product.

  • Maintain awareness and familiarity with emerging design trends and technologies to maximise the quality of both Cuttable and client outputs.
  • Show strong commercial acumen, leveraging market and customer data to identify and prioritise high-impact revenue opportunities.
  • Drive product decisions and prioritisation based on potential revenue growth, ROI, and market demand, ensuring the product roadmap aligns with the company’s financial goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance and business development teams to develop pricing strategies and business models that maximise revenue and profitability.

You don’t need to have all the answers & ideas, your role is to draw them out from wherever they can be found (internal ideation, customer insights and conversations, data analysis) and be highly effective at validating and/or disproving them.

No one else is doing this, and this is just the start of what we can achieve.

We have our own (dog-friendly) office in South Yarra and have all committed to spending at least Tuesdays and Thursdays together there. But, we embrace the hybrid way of working and enjoy a few days per week of deep work from home. Being an early-stage business means that we have a huge focus on collaborating and sharing our thinking about customers and products, whilst finding the time to get into some deep work. One thing you’ll never hear any of us say is, “That’s not my job”, everyone wears multiple hats.

When you come on board here, you’ll find a team of committed specialists who are eager learners, conscientious teammates, and curators of what’s essential. We’re quick to trust and we see things through. We achieve together and we’re here to do our best work. You’ll also benefit from our generous leave policy (did someone just say 25 days annual leave?), ESOP scheme, tech allowance & well-being support for you and your family.

If you’ve gotten this far and you are thinking “I’d love to do that kind of work at Cuttable”, then please apply. If you’ve gotten this far and thought, “My friend Tracy would be great for this”, please let her know.
